gbentmedia is a computer vision company focused on AI clothes removal technology. Our core product processes over 40,000 images daily across 80+ countries.
Our Mission
We set out to build the most accurate and privacy-respecting AI clothes removal tool available. That meant training on 12 million annotated images before releasing a single public beta.
Accuracy was non-negotiable from day one. The model went through 18 months of closed testing before hitting the 94% accuracy threshold we required for launch.
How We Started
gbentmedia started as an internal computer vision research project in 2023. A team of five engineers built the first prototype to test whether fabric edge detection could reach production-grade accuracy.
After blind testing confirmed 94% accuracy across diverse photo types, the team opened access to a private beta of 500 users. Feedback from that cohort shaped every major feature decision that followed.
Privacy By Design
Every image uploaded to gbentmedia is automatically deleted within 60 minutes. No long-term storage, no data brokering, no use of user images for model retraining without explicit opt-in.
Our Technology
The core model uses a convolutional architecture trained specifically on clothing boundary detection and body reconstruction. It handles fabric textures, lighting variation, and multi-person images.
Processing time averages 5–10 seconds per image. 4K output preserves full detail from the source file. The API delivers responses under 300ms at standard server load.
The Team
The gbentmedia core team includes engineers with backgrounds in medical imaging, fashion tech, and large-scale ML infrastructure. The team is fully remote across 6 countries.

Roadmap & Growth
